Privacy, personal data, cookies and your choices
This page explains which personal data and technologies OrbTrail uses, why they are needed, and how you can accept, reject or withdraw each optional purpose.Updated September 9, 2026Controller and current scope
OrbTrail determines the purposes of processing performed on the portal. We do not require an account or collect data through forms. Google Analytics 4 is used for optional measurement. Monetization integrates only the Adsterra Social Bar, which requires specific consent.
Essential storage
The browser locally stores your language preference and the record of your privacy choice. This data is necessary to preserve the experience you requested, is not used for advertising, and remains on the device until you change the choice, clear the browser or a new policy version requires a fresh decision.
Optional Analytics
When allowed, Google Analytics 4 may process the visited page, date and time, device and browser type, approximate region and interaction events. Google also processes the IP address to provide and protect the service. OrbTrail uses aggregate reports to understand audience, performance and navigation; Analytics remains fully blocked when this purpose is rejected.
Adsterra and personal data
The Adsterra choice allows the Social Bar to receive and store technical data and identifiers to serve, limit, measure and protect ads. Without this permission, the script is not requested.
Freely given and granular consent
On the first visit, optional cookies and trackers are off. You can reject all, accept all or separately choose Analytics and personal-data processing by Adsterra. Refusal does not limit access to articles, and accept and reject controls are available at the same level of the notice.
Withdrawal and on-device deletion
Use “Privacy preferences” in the footer at any time. When Analytics permission is withdrawn, the portal stops new measurement and attempts to remove accessible _ga cookies. When Adsterra permission is withdrawn, the page reloads without the Social Bar. You can also delete site data in browser settings. Withdrawal does not retroactively erase information already processed or retained under a legal obligation.
Sharing, retention and security
Analytics data is processed by Google under its terms. When authorized, Adsterra may receive and store IP address, URL or referrer, browser, device, identifiers and interactions. Retention and any transfers follow the partner policies linked on this page. Without permission, OrbTrail does not request Adsterra scripts or create advertising storage on the partner’s behalf.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent and remove accessible cookies through the portal and browser preferences. To request confirmation, information, correction, objection, portability or deletion, contact OrbTrail through the public channel orbtrail@gmail.com. Requests concerning processing by Adsterra may also be submitted to the partner under its privacy policy.
